WILD MEDICINE APOTHECARY — TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: 11/2025

(If you’re reading this whole thing: congratulations, you’re officially an Apothecary Lore Scholar.)

1. About Wild Medicine Apothecary

Wild Medicine Apothecary (“WMA”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a working apothecary creating handcrafted cleansing tools and herbal educational resources. Everything is made in small, human-scale batches — mixed by hand, measured by scale, and occasionally accompanied by a cat who believes she is management.

By exploring this website or purchasing from it, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Use of This Website

All content on this website — including articles, scrolls, product descriptions, photography, and the occasional poetic tangent — is for general informational and educational purposes only.

We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent illness.
(We do, however, think a warm bath and a moment of quiet can help most spirits.)

Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical concerns.

3. Product Safety & Information

Our cleansing tools are crafted with care and made following cosmetic safety guidelines. But every body is different — like leaves on the same tree.

By purchasing, you acknowledge that:

  • You will read all ingredient lists before use

  • You’ll discontinue use if irritation occurs

  • You’ll use products as intended

  • Ingredients are openly listed, but formulations remain proprietary (our grimoire has locked pages)

  • All products are free of essential oils and synthetic fragrance.

4. Educational Materials (Scrolls)

We offer two branches of knowledge:

Open-Source Scrolls

Free herbal teachings for anyone wishing to learn.
You may use them for personal study and non-commercial practice.
(Share knowledge, not the PDF file, please.)

Paid Scrolls

In-depth formulation templates and guides for aspiring apothecaries.
Each purchase grants a single-user license — not ownership.
Paid Scrolls may not be copied, resold, or distributed.

Basically: read them, learn from them, use them — but don’t repost them on the village bulletin board.

5. Intellectual Property

Everything here — text, images, scrolls, product names, brand voice — belongs to WMA.

You may not:

  • Copy product formulas

  • Reproduce or share paid scrolls

  • Republish content without permission

(This includes the mischievous act of screenshotting entire pages for TikTok narration.)

6. Orders, Payments, and Refunds

Due to the nature of small-batch products and digital materials:

  • All sales are final

  • If your physical order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 5 business days and we’ll fix it

  • Digital files cannot be refunded once downloaded

Your satisfaction matters — But we simply can’t take back a stone once it’s been dropped into a bath.

7. Shipping

We currently ship within the United States.

Please note:

Wild Medicine Apothecary is not responsible for:

  • Packages marked “delivered” but nowhere to be found

  • Postal delays

  • Addresses entered incorrectly at checkout (double-check — Mercury is always watching)

8. Privacy & Data

We respect your privacy like a hedgehog respects a pile of leaves — fiercely.

  • We do not sell your information

  • We do not share your information

  • Payment info is processed by secure third parties (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)

  • We never see or store your credit card details

See our Privacy Policy for more depth (bring a lantern).

9. Limitations of Liability

By using this site or purchasing our products, you agree that WMA is not liable for:

  • Any adverse reactions

  • How you use educational materials

  • Any damages related to website use

You use all products and resources at your sole discretion.

We offer tools and knowledge — what you do with them is your ritual.

We’re a small team, basically a one-woman show — please allow time for a human to respond.

✨ A Final Word

Welcome to the Apothecary.
We’re glad you’re here.

If you've read all of this:
You are now one of the few, the brave, the curious — the kind of person who reads fine print like it's marginalia in an old herbal grimoire. We salute you.

📦 SHIPPING POLICY

At Wild Medicine Apothecary, everything is crafted in small batches, packed with care, and shipped like a little spell in a box.

Here’s how your order makes its way from my hands to yours — clean, honest, and without unnecessary mystery (the fun kind of mystery we keep, but never apply to shipping).

Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 3–7 business days.
During busy seasons, product launches, or cosmic interference (Mercury retrograde, unexpected snowstorms, children’s birthday parties), processing times may extend slightly.

If there’s ever a significant delay, I’ll let you know.

Shipping Methods

We ship through major carriers (USPS, UPS, or similar) depending on the size, weight, and destination of your order.

Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number so you can watch your package make its heroic journey across the land.

Shipping Issues

If your package is delayed, lost, or appears to be wandering the earth like a mythic pilgrim, please reach out. While carriers are responsible for delivery once the package leaves my hands, I’ll do what I can to help investigate and resolve issues.

If a package is marked delivered and is nowhere to be found, please check with neighbors, household members, or delivery photos. Sometimes packages like to hide.

International Shipping

Yes, we ship internationally when possible.
Please note that customers are responsible for any customs fees, taxes, or duties. These vary wildly from country to country (like herbs growing differently across regions).

Packaging

Every package is intentionally assembled: eco-conscious materials whenever possible, safe for transit, and with minimal fluff. Expect simplicity, function, and a bit of apothecary charm.

Treat note:

If you’re still reading this… wow. You and the Terms-of-Use crowd should form a club.
Snacks for all.

🔄 REFUNDS & RETURNS POLICY

Because Wild Medicine Apothecary items are handmade, small-batch, and often perishable or personal-use products, returns are handled with care and common sense.

Returns

Due to the nature of skincare, herbal goods, and personal-use items, most products cannot be returned once opened or used.

However — if something arrives damaged, defective, or clearly not as expected, please email me within 7 days of delivery at info@wildmedicineguide.com and I will make it right.

I don’t leave people hanging. It’s not the apothecary way.

Exchanges

If you received the wrong item by mistake (for example, you ordered a Toner and received a Salt Stone), please let me know. I will correct the error at no cost to you.

Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours as long as they haven’t shipped yet.
After that, your package is already in motion and cannot be called back without summoning higher powers (postal workers).

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom blends

  • Perishable herbal goods

  • Opened skincare products

  • Sale items (unless damaged upon arrival)

  • Gift cards

If Something Goes Wrong

Email me. Truly. I’m one person behind this apothecary, and I take every order personally. If there’s a real issue, I’ll work with you to find a solution.

🎁 If you’ve made it this far:

You’ve officially read more than most humans ever will. Treat yourself to a cup of tea, a stretch, or a moment with the nearest plant. You also deserve a cookie. Or a bath. Or both, at the same time, if you’re living dangerously.
